Nordic Handcraft Workshop: Carve a Heart

Try your hand at carving this Valentine’s week while making a sweet wooden heart decoration. This beginner-level course will introduce students to the tradition of green woodcarving, including basic knife grips and carving techniques. Related topics such as acquiring and preparing tools and materials will be covered throughout the evening. The finished hearts will be perfect for decorating a table or even making a statement necklace. Open to students 14-17 registered alongside an accompanying adult.
